WATER AND SANITATION
Commercial agriculture in Zimbabwe is heavily dependent on irrigation. The resuscitation and future growth of the Zimbabwean economy is dependent upon the availability of adequate water supply for domestic, industrial and agricultural use, Zimbabwe boasts the highest per capita water bodies in Africa and there are plenty of opportunities for investors in the water and sanitation subsector.
Government has crafted a comprehensive National Water Policy to guide the recovery of the water sector and sanitation services in the country. This will give investors various opportunities in the water and sanitation subsector.

- National Matebeleland Zambezi Water Project (capacity: 634,00Ml at an estimated cost of US$122 million)
- Muda- Nyatsime Chitungwiza Water Supply Project-Harare (Capacity of 80.5m3 at an estimated cost of USS 61 million for Nyatsime dam. Capacity 44million m3 at an estimated cost Of US$ 50.6 million for Muda Dam)
- Chivhu Water Supply Project-Mashonaland East (Capacity of 24 million m3 at an estimated cost of US$8.5 million)
- Epping Forest (Nyamandlovu Aquifer) Bulawayo Water Supply
- Bindura Dam-Mashonaland Central (capacity of 87 million m3 at an estimated cost of US$80 million)
- Kondo Dam-Save River, Odzi (Capacity of 3.565 billion m3, at an estimated costs of US$350 million)
- Kudu Dam-Kadoma, Sanyati (Capacity of I .4 billion m3 at an estimated cost of US$270 million)
